We have partnered with local Girl Scouts organizations and the Kiwanis Club to develop a robotics program designed to spark an interest in STEM fields for young girls.
This project involves 3 1-hour-long sessions where scouts work on conceptualizing, constructing, and coding a robot that can move and detect obstacles in a smooth way.
Our curriculum is such that it can be taught to audiences ages 9-14. We have currently hosted workshops with 2 troops, and have upcoming ones scheduled during the off-season with 12+ troops across 6 different elementary and middle schools!

We absolutely love working with the Girl Scouts! Energetic yet focused, they are truly a pleasure to teach. Our current workshop features constructing and programming the MakeBlock mBot using a starter kit, then learning about Scratch, and finally, coding your own game!
